Culture-Independent Shotgun Metagenomic Analysis of Sediment Samples (B-2) from Old and New Yumesamdong, North Sikkim, India

This study investigates microbial diversity across three distinct thermal gradient regions, hot, warm, and cold located in Old and New Yumesamdong, North Sikkim, India. Sediment samples were collected from these thermally contrasting environments to explore how temperature influences bacterial community composition. We performed shotgun metagenomic sequencing to analyze the microbial profiles and functional potential across the different thermal zones.
