资源简介:
This excel sheet describes the calculations made to calculate the first versus deferred plastic footprint. This excel sheet is connected to that one: "Calculating the global plastic footprint: application to four case studies", https://doi.org/10.57745/XJYAMA, Recherche Data Gouv, V1. The global plastic particle footprint (PPF) refers to the total mass of plastic particles, particularly microplastics (less than 5 mm in size) and nanoplastics (less than 1 µm), released or expected to be released into the environment one day. This global PPF is decoupled in a two tiered phenomena and split into two categories: the first and the deferred PPF. The first PPF is calculated from existing data on plastic MNPs emitted during the first stages of the plastic item life chain, while the deferred PPF is deduced by substracting the first PPF from the global PPF. All PPF are expressed in % w/w of the initial item. All calculations are made for 100 kg of initial item. Upstream plastics consumption was excluded from the calculations.
