Data were collected at a short rotation coppice agroforestry site established at Wendhausen (Lower Saxony, Germany) in 2008. At this site, 10 m wide poplar strips ("Max 1" (P. nigra L. x P. maximowiczii Henry)) are alternating with 48 m wide crop alleys. Yield and selected quality parameters of annual crop plants were assessed in 2023. The total amount of litter per square meter was assessed during the whole period of litterfall. The biomass yield of the poplar short-rotation coppice was estimated for the 3-year rotation tree lines.
