Electronic, magnetic, and structural properties of novel iron oxides

The proposed experiment focuses on exploring the electronic configurations and magnetic properties of the known novel mixed-valence iron oxides (e.g. Fe5O7, Fe25O32), as well as discovering new novel iron oxides using the Synchrotron Mössbauer Source spectroscopy and Single-Crystal X-ray diffraction up to 200 GPa and 5000 K. This proposal is a continuation of proposal HC-5323.
