This statistic shows the perception of targeted advertising according to adults in the United States as of May 2019. The survey results show, that 29 percent of male respondents were of the opinion that targeted advertisements were a convenient way for them to see products they were interested in, however, a further 49 percent thought this kind of advertising was an inappropriate use of personal data.
