资源简介:
Dr. Alain Khayat et al., conducted high spatial resolution (~ 1km) retrievals of water vapor from MRO/CRISM observations taken over Gale crater, the landing site of the Mars Science Laboratory (MSL). The observations span a little more than 3 Mars years (MY) from MY 28 (October 04, 2006) to MY 31 (April 24, 2012). The seasonal cycle of water vapor above Gale is compared against that from reprocessed and extended MSL Curiosity rover ChemCam passive sky observations and covering the period between MY 31 (March 30, 2013) and MY 35 (June 20, 2019). The data here are presented in Figures 6 and 7 of the manuscript "The Annual Cycle of Water Vapor Above Gale Crater as Retrieved by CRISM and Compared to ChemCam Passive Sky Spectroscopy " by Alain SJ. Khayat, Michael D. Smith and Timothy H. McConnochie, submitted to Icarus. The file "CRISM_Gale_h2o.dat“ is a table of water vapor column abundances as retrieved from CRISM observations over Gale. The table includes the following information: longitude, latitude, retrieved surface pressure (mbar), water vapor column abundance (pr-µm), water vapor column abundance (pr-µm) scaled to a reference surface pressure of 6.1 mbar, season (Ls), MOLA elevation (km), and observation name. The file "csky_paper1a_1_H2O_supp__sm_.txt“ is a table of water vapor column abundances as retrieved by ChemCam passive sky observations inside Gale crater. The table includes the following information: MSL sol number, Local True Solar Time, season (Ls), surface pressure (mbar), water vapor column abundance (pr-µm), uncertainty, water vapor column abundance (pr-µm) scaled to a reference surface pressure of 6.1 mbar, uncertainty, water vapor mixing ratio (ppmv), uncertainty. The data here supersedes the dataset available in Appendix D: Supplementary materials in McConnochie et al. (2018) "Retrieval of water vapor column abundance and aerosol properties from ChemCam passive sky spectroscopy". Icarus, 307, 294-326, https://doi.org/10.1016/j.icarus.2017.10.043. We expect to archive future updates to this data set in NASA’s Planetary Data System.
