White-breasted nuthatch GBS (genotyping-by-sequencing)

This BioProject contains GBS (genotyping-by-sequencing) data for white-breasted nuthatches (Sitta carolinensis) and outgroups. Outgroups include the red-breasted nuthatch (Sitta canadensis) and the Eurasian Nuthatch (Sitta europaea); however, the Eurasian nuthatch was not used in our study. The goal of this project was to investigate the species status of cryptic populations of white-breasted nuthatch across North America and to determine if introgression had occurred between populations. Data is contained in multiplex forward and reverse-read files.
