Deciphering the dynamic transcriptional and post-transcriptional networks of macrophages in the healthy heart and after myocardial injury [RNA-seq]

Macrophage plasticity has been studied in vitro, but transcriptional regulation upon injury is poorly understood. In this study, we generated a data set for genome-wide transcriptome and miRNome analysis of macrophages in the healthy heart and after myocardial injury. Overall design: Cardiac macrophages GFP+ cells were isolated from Cx3cr1GFP/+ knock-in mouse hearts in steady-state and at different post-injury stages.
