Transcriptome analysis of pulvinus of Lotus japonicus

Nyctinasty is caused by diurnal changes in the expansion and contraction of the motor cells of the pulvinus at the base of the leaf or leaflet. To indetify the genes involved in this moveemnt, RNA-seq analysis of genes expressed in pulvini and stems at different time points was perfromed.
