资源简介:
This supplementary data file supports a scoping review that aimed to characterize all available literature on modifiable management practices used during the dry period that have been evaluated for their impact on udder health in dairy cattle, both during the dry period and the subsequent lactation. The dataset includes 229 articles that described a dry-off modifiable management practice, that was not a teat sealant or antimicrobial product, to identify practices that can be used to improve udder health in dairy cows and support the judicious use of antimicrobials. This dataset also outlines risk period measurements found within eligible articles for each of the following outcomes: cure of existing intramammary infections (IMI), prevention of new IMI, risk of clinical mastitis, and prevalence of IMI. Risk period measures were a large source of between-article variation we identified.
