Penicillium species isolated from apples in Lebanon. Isolation, Molecular Identification, and Mycotoxin Production of Penicillium species isolated from apples in Mount Lebanon

The results of the study highlights the importance of the diseases during apple storage and call for the implementation of control strategies and proper measures in cold storage to protect fruits from fungal decay and increase food safety by decreasing the risk of mycotoxin contamination of apple fruit products.
