CypA promotes PDCoV replication by inhibiting ubiquitin–dependent degradation of viral spike protein

CypA is a host protein that plays an important role in viral infection and regulates viral replication. This study found that CypA can significantly promote the replication of PDCoV in host cells. And it can interact with PDCoV S protein and participate in maintaining the stability of S protein to prevent its proteasome pathway degradation, thereby promoting PDCoV replication. The results of this study provide new insights for further understanding the mechanism of PDCoV-host interaction.
