Fusarium langsethiae is a widespread pathogen of oats in the Nordic region and in the UK, causing large problems with T2 and HT-2 toxin contamination in the grain every year. In an effort to better understand the molecular basis for this fungus' plant infection mechanisms and toxin production, we present here a draft genome sequence of F. langsethiae isolated from oats in Norway.
