The purpose of this project is related to comparative genomics for blaCTX-M-27-positive Escherichia coli strains isolated in Japan. Complete genome sequencing analysis revealed that one strain possesses a IncF (FIA and FIB) plasmid carrying multicopy blaCTX-M-27 mediated by IS26 composite transposons.
