RAD-seq of Carabus blaptoides. Carabus blaptoides

RAD-seq (Restriction Site Associated DNA Sequence) was performed on Carabus blaptoides with the goal of identifying genes associated with adaptivemorphology in beetles. DNA was extracted from Carabus blaptoides fortunei and Carabus blaptoides capito, and their backcrosses, and RAD-Seq was performed. The obtained fragment sequences were used to create a high-density linkage map. QTL mapping was also performed to identify loci regions related to morphology.
