Ephemeral wetland macroinvertebrate communities of the Great Plains

These data are provided to supplement and replicate Frazier et al 2024: Ephemeral wetland macroinvertebrate communities across climate regions share similar functional trait composition despite near-total taxa replacement. Included within are macroinvertebrate abundances and trait modalities and environmental/habitat data from ephemeral wetlands in Kansas, North Dakota, New Mexico, and Texas sampled between 2020 and 2022. Note that some environmental and community data are available for New Mexico, Texas, and Kansas that were not incorporated into analyses for the study associated with this dataset.
