Data sets of stable isotope in precipitation and surface water in the upper reaches of Shiyang River

The upper reaches of the Shiyang River on the northern slope of the Qilian Mountains, with an altitude ranging from 1,531m to 3,553m, is located in a cold and arid area. From October 2016 to October 2020, we set up 6 sampling points (P1-P6) in this area, collected 863 precipitation samples, and 432 valid surface water samples (S1-S5). The precipitation samples are collected in time after each precipitation time, and the surface water samples are collected once a month.

祁连山脉北坡的石羊河上游地区，海拔介于1,531米至3,553米之间，地处寒冷干旱之域。自2016年10月至2020年10月，我们在该区域设立了6个采样点（P1-P6），采集了863份降水样本，以及432份有效地表水样本（S1-S5）。降水样本在每次降水后及时收集，地表水样本则每月采集一次。
