Overview This repository contains the processed gene count matrix and corresponding sample metadata from a transcriptomic study investigating maternal peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) in pregnant women with primary cytomegalovirus (CMV) infection. The study evaluates the differences between women who transmitted the virus to the fetus ("transmitters") and those who did not ("non-transmitters") to uncover underlying immune mechanisms and identify predictive biomarkers for congenital transmission.
