资源简介:
This study investigated the efficacy of the Rorschach test-based Perceptual Thinking Index (PTI) in differentiating individuals with schizophrenia from spiritually advanced healthy counterparts. Given the nuanced resemblance between spiritual phenomena and psychotic symptoms, precise differentiation becomes imperative, as misdiagnosing the former as the latter may lead to significant repercussions. Additionally, the research explored potential sex-specific variations within each group concerning PTI scores. The comparative analysis involved 20 participants in each group. Schizophrenic patients were selected via purposive sampling at the IMHH, adhering to ICD-10 (DCR) criteria. Spiritually advanced healthy individuals were convenience-sampled, screened using GHQ-12 and SPI-R. Later, Rorschach Inkblot Test was administered and overall PTI scores of each participant were computed. The provided data set (raw data), comprising of the socio-demographic characteristics and the total PTI score of each participant, lays the foundation of the results of the study. Moreover, the supplementary data set consisting of Chi-square and Fisher statistics enhances the validity of the same.
