Danish Gallup Omnibus Data 1986, Omnibus no. 20

Danish Gallup Omnibus Data 1986 comprises 20 omnibus surveys carried out by the Danish Gallup Institute in 1986. # #Each survey contains a number of demographic variables common to all the surveys of that year, as well as a number of questions dealing with topical events. # #The questions common to all 1986 omnibuses are: #The respondent's sex, age and marital status; size of the household, number of adults (persons aged 15 or more) and children, and age of the children; the respondent's position in the household; the respondent's education, occupational status, public or private employment and income; education, occupational status and public or private employment of the head of the household; gross household income; the housewife's occupational status; housing conditions and ownership of the dwelling as well as geographical location and degree of urbanization; which party the respondent voted for at the last general election; and which party the respondent would vote for at a general election on the day after the interview. # #The special questions in this omnibus deal with the following issues: # #The most important problems for the country (unemployment, burden of taxation, balance of payments, pollution, social problems, AIDS, housing problems, health service problems, violence, security policy) and the most important problems ten years from now; causes of pollution; agriculture versus the industry as regards degree of pollution; fertilizers versus chemical waste as pollutants; deferred increase of wages of various population groups (public versus private employees and skilled versus unskilled workers); attitude to legal abortion in general and in cases where a specific sex of the child is wanted; and membership of a trade union under LO
