Sales value of Hanfu on Alibaba platforms China 2024, by product type

In January 2024, Alibaba's e-commerce platforms recorded a sales value of 329 million yuan for Hanfu skirts, which accounts for almost 90 percent of the total sales value of Hanfu* (traditional Chinese fashion) on those online platforms. The main product of Hanfu skirts is Mamianqun (or "horse-faced skirt"), which has become a hit in China's fashion market.
