Contains copies of letters sent by the Assistant Gold Commissioner, New England. Most of the letters are directed to the Chief Commissioner at Armidale and are reports upon the gold fields, licences issued, etc.; after August 1857 most of the letters of this form were directed to the Under Secretary of Lands and Public Works. Other correspondence is to the Attorney General, Colonial Storekeeper, Government Printer and private individuals. (4/5475 part). 1 vol (part).
