Global GIS layer of seahorse species richness

This folder presents the species data used in the manuscript "Predicting distributions, habitat preferences, and associated conservation implications for a genus of rare fishes, seahorses (Hippocampus spp.). It includes the global map of seahorse species richness estimated in the manuscript. Nations or local governments may use our map to guide smaller-scale conservation studies and planning for seahorses of concern.
