Data from a Trial Trench Evaluation at Mill House Farm, Stoke Mandeville South Embankment, Stoke Mandeville, Buckinghamshire, 2018-2022 (HS2 Phase One)

This collection comprises images, text documents, site records, and spreadsheets generated by LP Archaeology during trial trench evaluation at Mill House Farm, Stoke Mandeville South Embankment, Buckinghamshire, undertaken between 2018 and 2022. Archaeology was revealed in 21 trenches, the majority producing artefactual assemblages. Pottery recovered ranged from the prehistoric through to the post-medieval period, with a strong emphasis on the medieval phase. Overall, the remains represent a continuation of Iron Age, Romano-British, medieval, and post-medieval activity already known in the surrounding landscape.
