This database concludes the movies of the complexes and coacervates recorded by LCSM, the size statistics data, the CD data, and the LLS data.The movies were captured in 30 min from the complexation as the time scale, and 6.25 pixels stand for 1.0 μm as the size scale. The red color stands for the fluorescence of cy5-labelled ss-oligo. The movies are named as "peptide pH" to show complexation and coacervation behaviors of different peptides (RRLR, RRLC, RRLE, HHLR, HHLH, HHLC, HHLE) and ss-oligo in different pH (8.0 6.0 4.0). They are applied to Fig. 1 and Fig. S1.The statistics data includes the processing setup of ImageJ and the size data of the coacervates. The Imagej setup is the macro to obtain the data from the movies or figures. In the size data, the data in sheet 1 are applied to Fig. 2, and the data in sheet 2 are applied to Fig. 3. The first column is the time, the second column and third column are the average size of the coacervates and its error (nm). The related peptides and pH are placed in the column before the data.The CD data were obtained before and 10 min after the complexation.The data of the spectra are also named as "peptide pH" to show the related system. the first column stands for the wavelength (nm), and the second column stands for the CD (mdeg). The data of RRLC only are placed in sheet 1, those of RRLC/ss-oligo in sheet 2, those of RRLE only in sheet 3, while those of RRLE/ss-oligo in sheet 4. They are applied to Fig. 4.The LLS data were monitored in 30 min from the complexation (pH 8.0) and 150 min from the acidification (pH 8.0-4.0). The data of the size disturbution of RRLR, RRLC, and HHLR complexes at pH 8.0 are placed in sheet 1, 2, and 3, respectively. They are applied to Fig. 5a, 5b, and 5c. The size distribution of all peptide complexes under the pH drop from 8.0 to 4.0 are placed in sheet 4 to sheet 10 in sequence. They are applied to Fig. S2. The first column is the Rh (nm) and the second column is the value showing the distribution. The time-dependence of the complexation processes at pH 8.0 are placed in sheet 11 and those under the pH drop from 8.0 to 4.0 are placed in sheet 11. They are respectively applied to Fig. 5d, 5d, and Fig. 6. The first column is the time (min). The second and third columns are the intensity and its error (kcps). The fourth and fifth columns are the Rh and its error (nm).
