Observation of Gender and the Appearance of Footwear Laces

This study is on the relationship between gender and the presence of laces in the subject's footwear. In order for a footwear to be considered of having laces, the laces must have the functionality of holding the shoes/footwear together. If laces were there for decorative purposes, then it was observed to be non-existent.
