EndangeRed: An R Package for Red Listing of Crop Varieties Using OCF and RCF Metrics

EndangeRed is an open-source R package that provides functions to identify varieties at risk of loss (“red listing”) using Overall Cultivar Frequency (OCF) and Relative Cultivar Frequency (RCF) metrics. The package includes functions to compute OCF and RCF from survey/observational data with household/community/location structure and a convenience function (get_red_listing) that assigns varietal risk categories (e.g., At Risk, Critically At Risk, Potentially Vulnerable, Secure, Stable/Low Concern). The package is distributed via GitHub and can be installed using remotes::install_github().
