IUCN Red List assessment occurrence data for freshwater species native to the Lake Malawi/Nyasa/Niassa Catchment

With funding from the JRS Biodiversity Foundation, the Freshwater Biodiversity Unit of the IUCN Global Species Programme implemented the project: "Biodiversity information for the Lake Malawi/Nyasa/Niassa Catchment Eastern Africa: Data for decision-makers". Through this project, Red List assessments of the extinction risk of all freshwater crabs, fishes, molluscs and shrimps, and selected freshwater plants, native to the Lake Malawi/Nyasa/Niassa Catchment were published on The IUCN Red List of Threatened Species (https://www.iucnredlist.org/). This resource represents the point occurrence data collated through this project and published as part of the species distribution maps.
