This file includes data for the manuscript entitled "Varying effects of climate change on the photosynthesis and calcification of crustose coralline algae: Implications for settlement of coral larvae". This project is focused on understanding the impacts of increased seawater temperature and ocean acidification on the photosynthetic efficiency and calcification of two Caribbean crustose coralline algae species, <i>Hydrolithon boergesenii</i> and <i>Paragoniolithon solubile</i>. Furthermore, the settlement response of three coral species, <i>Acropora cervicornis</i>, <i>A. palmata</i> and <i>Porites astreoides</i> to these CCA under present day and future conditions was assessed.
