Genome Project of Verasper variegatus

This Project is the first genome assembly and annotation of Verasper variegatus. As a Pleuronectidae fish, Verasper variegatus was the first to captured the chromosome level genome. The chromosomal genome assembly constructed in this work will not only be valuable for conservation and aquaculture studies of the Verasper variegatus but will also be of general interest in the phylogenetic and taxonomic studies of Pleuronectiformes.
