Expression data from global miR-100 overexpressing mice

Excessive supernutrition can lead to metabolic syndrome, liver steatosis and NAFLD. To find genes involved in metabolic regulation might be helpfull in treating metabolic diseases. We used microarray analysis to identify possible new targets of microRNA-100 in liver tissue. Liver tissue samples from 6 months old, male, untreated wildtype (4x) and global microRNA-100 overexpressing mice (4x) was used for RNA extraction and hybridization on Affymetrix microarrays.
