Survey Experiment Assessing the Impact of Federal Agencies in Shaping Public Opinion of Drug Epidemic Approaches

This was a survey experiment of heads of households in South Carolina in which respondents were randomly assigned either DEA, NIH, or control conditions. If assigned either a DEA or NIH treatment, respondents were presented the DEA approach to combatting the drug opioid epidemic. But if assigned the NIH treatment, respondents were presented NIH approaches to the opioid epidemic. All respondents were asked the same questions about how much they agree with various approaches to addressing the opioid epidemic.
