This dataset is a statistical table of the area and standing volume of natural arbor forests, classified by forest category and age group, derived from the 7th National Type I Forest Inventory. It records the area and standing volume of natural arbor forests across 30 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government of China, as well as the area and standing volume of natural arbor forests under each forest category and age group, including young forest, middle-aged forest, near-mature forest, mature forest and over-mature forest.
