N2O reducing bacteria in acidic soil

Acidic soils are considered hot spots for N2O emissions. In our study, it was found that acidic red soil with a pH of 4.8 exhibited a strong N2O reduction ability. The metagenomics and metatranscriptomics revealed the microbial communities and potential N2O reducing bacteria in this soil.
