Taylor experiment drifter trajectories (15 minute interval records) near the Taylor site and the Mississippi Delta, April-June 2017

Trajectories from 5 undrogued and 7 drogued drifters were tracked in real-time using SPOT GPS units, launched near the Taylor Energy site just offshore of the Mississippi Delta on April 18-20, 2017 as a collaboration of two GoMRI projects: “Influence of river induced fronts on hydrocarbon transport” and “CARTHE”. Positions are interpolated to uniform 15 minute intervals starting from launching time through early June.
