Transcriptome analysis of epithelial cells in the small intestine of wild-type and vasopressin receptor-deficient mice

We aimed to compare the gene expression profile of enteroendocrine cells between wild-type and vasopressin receptor V1a and V1b double-defficient mice. We isolated epithelial cells from the small intestine, and selectively collected Claudin-4-expressing cells using flow cytometry. Total RNA was extracted from the cells with RNeasy Micro Kit. cDNA library for mRNA was prepared with SMART-Seq v4 Ultra Low Input Kit. Pair-end sequencing (150 bp) was performed with NovaSeq 6000.
