INTERNATIONAL SCIENTIFIC-PRACTICAL CONFERENCE «I FIRSOVSKY READINGS. MODERN PROBLEMS OF INTERCULTURAL COMMUNICATION»

The Firsova's Readings are held in memory of the outstanding Russian Hispanist N.М. Firsova. Under the auspices of the Firsova's Readings, students and all those who were inspired by the scientific work of N.M. Firsova. Nowadays, most nations of the world live in a period of serious change. As is known, changes in social culture are reflected in the system of language and the ways of its functioning. Domestic linguistics is increasingly feeling the need for a more specific clarification of changes occurring in the language system and in colloquial speech. This conference was held to discuss the latest achievements in linguistics, intercultural communication, comparative linguistics, sociolinguistic research and methods of teaching foreign languages. This is important both for the development of science itself and for the demand of modern practice.
