The effect of the luxR gene on the host's immune function

This experiment investigated the effect of the luxR gene on the virulence of P. plecoglossicida and the host's immune response. Four shrna were designed and synthesized to reduce the expression level of the luxR gene, and a strain with the optimal level of expression reduction was selected for subsequent experiments. Transcriptome comparison analysis showed that after infecting tilapia, the luxR-RNAi strain caused a significant change in the host's immune defense against the bacteria, indicating that the luxR gene may play an important role in the host's resistance to pathogen invasion
