Drosophila melanogaster is used to study several pathologies, together with other models, aiming to elucidate unknown mechanisms and develop potential therapies. Alzheimer's disease is characterized by irreversible and progressive loss of memory and cognitive functions. In order to evaluate differential expression of genes during the progression of Alzheimer's disease, RNA-seq and in silico approach were performed.
