Sample TMX-BoC 14 - Optical and SEM images - Dataset of the dissertation "Deformation properties of Boom Clay - Implementation of a multi-scale concept"

This dataset contains research data for the dissertation "Deformation properties of Boom Clay - Implementation of a multi-scale concept". This study investigates the development of the microstructure in triaxial tests on Boom Clay of the sample TMX-BoC 14. The sample was saturated but not deformed in the triaxial cell to investigate the influence of saturation on the microstructure. The dried and cut sample was then analysed by scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and optical microscopy. This archive contains files from the fields of optical imaging and SEM related to the sample TMX-BoC 14.
