Transcriptome libraries of the Beilunhe River and Liaohe River populations of the Chinese mitten crab (Eriocheir sinensis)

This study investigates the molecular mechanisms underlying the environmental adaptation of the Chinese mitten crab (Eriocheir sinensis) through comparative transcriptomic analysis of two geographically divergent populations (the Beilunhe and Liaohe Rivers). The constructed transcriptome libraries provide essential genetic resources for molecular breeding and the selection of stress-resilient traits in aquaculture. Furthermore, elucidating these adaptive mechanisms offers a critical theoretical foundation for understanding the species' evolutionary success and informing global ecological management strategies.
