PbAP2-TR plays a role in regulating major transcriptomic changes from early to late trophozoite [PbAP2-TR_RNA-seq]

Plasmodium berghei transcriptomes of pbap2-tr-DiCre, a parasite line in which pbap2-tr is disrupted by DiCre-mediated recombination in the presence of rapamycin, were analyzed at the trophozoite stage. pbap2-tr-DiCre parasites treated with 30 nM rapamycin or DMSO were harvested at 12 h post-injection (hpi), and total RNA was extracted from the parasites. Libraries were constructed from the total RNA and then sequenced by the next generation sequencing.
