Corridor Project Data, Pollen Movement from Central Patch, Savannah River Site, SC USA, 2000-2001

This dataset documents pollen movement by two pollinator groups (butterflies and bees/wasps) in the Corridor Project experimental landscapes. Each landscape consists of five open habitat patches surrounded by a mature pine plantation matrix. One central patch is surrounded by four peripheral patches. The central patch is connected to one peripheral patch by a corridor; the three remaining unconnected peripheral patches have either a rectangular or winged shape. Pollen movement was tracked by applying fluorescent powder to flowers in the central patch and recording the presence or absence of powder on flowers in the peripheral patches.
