This dataset contains 4,538 Japanese handwritten text samples collected from 101 individuals, all written on A4 paper. The content covers various fields including social livelihood, entertainment, tourism, sports events, movies, and music composition. In terms of annotation, the text is annotated with both character-level bounding boxes and corresponding character-level transcriptions, as well as line-level bounding boxes and corresponding line-level transcriptions. This dataset can be used for Japanese handwritten OCR tasks.
