The National Land Cover Database (NLCD) is the authoritative land cover database of the United States, developed by the Earth Resources Observation and Science (EROS) Center of the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS). This database provides land cover and land change data for nine time periods spanning from 2001 to 2021, covering the contiguous United States with a spatial resolution of 30 meters.
