资源简介:

The aim of this master’s thesis is to determine how digitalization influences corporate learning. Digital transformation refers to an ongoing change in the economy and society triggered by the emergence of increasingly powerful digital techniques and technologies, and it affects all market participants in the financial sector. Digitalization has already changed the nature of learning, and current events, such as the COVID-19 pandemic, are forcing these learning methods to shift even more toward the digital realm. Therefore, the following research questions are posed: How does digitalization affect learning at Migros Bank AG? What are the risks and opportunities for employees? What are the risks and opportunities for the company? To answer the research question, a qualitative study was conducted with experts and others involved in learning at Migros Bank AG. Corporate learning is the term for any investment in developing the ability of employees and the organization to quickly understand and respond to the business environment (Ulrich & Lake, 1991). It is not limited to learning job skills, mastering a new tool, or educating employees on new products and software, although these can be part of the corporate learning process (Glaveski, 2019). The results of this qualitative study indicate that the investment in learning is needed to ensure that Migros Bank AG remains current with business trends and to train employees in new competencies that are influenced by digitalization. Furthermore, a strong corporate culture is imperative if corporate learning is to be changed and modernized by digitalization so that the company and its employees remain stable. Finally, it is essential that employees always have the opportunity to continue their education internally as well as externally and to remain up to date.
