资源简介:
The rapid growth of the Internet has created many opportunities but has also led to various cybersecurity incidents that seriously threaten personal data, national security, and economic growth. In January 2022, a series of cyber-attacks targeted several Ukrainian banks and the website of Ukraine's Ministry of Defense, disrupting these sites. DDoS attacks also occurred at the same time, heavily overwhelming the targeted websites . In response to this surge in cyber-attacks, the global community began to focus more on Ukraine’s cybersecurity. Many countries offered technical and hardware support, including anti-virus software, firewalls, and other cybersecurity defense tools . However, cyberspace is unique because attacks are silent while defenses are loud . These defenses were broken shortly after Ukraine and its supporters formed a coalition .
With the notable achievements of artificial intelligence (AI) over the past decade and the widespread use of AI-powered software, new AI-driven cybersecurity threats have emerged. Recently, since OpenAI’s API was made publicly available, various platforms have integrated it into their systems and apps. While these uses have offered many conveniences, in cyberspace, AI-assisted services are quickly turning into tools for malicious activities, actively creating and distributing phishing emails , replacing the large workforce typically needed for extensive phishing campaigns. At the same time, there is a rise in the development of socially engineered deepfake AIs that produce high-quality, adaptable fake identities .
These threats highlight the importance of a strong, integrated cybersecurity framework that combines AI, Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI), and Zero-Trust Architecture (ZTA). A key element of this framework is the idea of symmetry—an organizing principle that offers balance and resilience in cybersecurity models by ensuring defense mechanisms evolve as quickly as threats. This paper introduces a novel architecture that unifies CTI and ZTA through symmetry, enabling more intelligent, adaptive, and scalable security infrastructures.
