This study examined how the interaction of oil with clays and or marine snow affected the biodegradation of oil by specific bacteria (Pseudomonas putida F1 and Rhodococcus qingshengii TUHH‌-12). This dataset contains experimental data on the effect of Corexit, EPS and suspended particles on the degradation of crude oil (oxygen consumption, n-alkane and BTEX and PAHs biodegradation).
