Jaccard indices were calculated at the gene level (using gene names as individual items), using the definitions of regulated genes used elsewhere in the present paper for the newly inferred motifs and the network_tf_gene.txt entries from RegulonDB (release 10.8). Motif indices match those in S3 Data for members of the redundancy-pruned set. TF, transcription factor.
