The cohort, its histopathology and the sequencing analysed here were generated by the Liver Cancer Evolution Consortium, are described in Aitken et al. (2026), and are deposited under ArrayExpress E-MTAB-16391 (mirrored as ENA BioProject PRJEB105369, study ERP186572), PRJEB15138, S-BSST383 and S-BSST384. Whole-slide images are under S-BSST129. The analysis code and the input data bundle it reads are not part of this record. The backsplice junction caller, ecircscreen, is released separately. Coordinates are not uniform. Each background's tables are in the assembly its data was called on: GRCm38 for C57BL/6J, and C3H_HeJ_v1, CAST_EiJ_v1 and CAROLI_EIJ_v1.1 for the others, so identical coordinates in two backgrounds are not the same locus. The projected common reference of backsplice junctions is in GRCm38 and carries each background's native identifier alongside. The transcript-level annotation is Ensembl 103 on GRCm39.
